I was born and raised in New York, Manhattan and began my formal art training at
LaGuardia High School of the Arts in New York City with a concentration on Art &
Music. I built a strong portfolio and continued on to the School of Visual Arts (SVA).

As an artist my goal is to create pieces that quickly attack attention, easily
communicate ideas, sparks up some controversy and engage the viewer to look in
and investigate for more. For me creativity is a form of searching, that searching lends
itself to all forms of creative work. In my work I draw my inspiration from points in
history ranging from Afro American history, political climate and dark atmospheres
as well as cultural influences.

My work presents my personal stance on life that audiences can universally be
touched and relate to and have space for conversation.
